The power of the tongue

The words of a mans mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a babbling brook. Proverbs 18:4

What you speak is what you are. What you are is what you think. And what you think is what you attract. The most important thing is to watch how you speak.

As the proverb says words of a mans mouth are deep waters. The power is in your tongue rather you think you are wise if you have no control over your tongue and what comes out of your mouth you are a fool. It does not matter what material things you have or don’t have, it does not matter how much money you have or don’t have.

In this world today people stereotype other people thinking the definition off being wise is based on education, how much money one has, and material things and that is just not true. People stereotype the fool as the person who has no education, no money, nothing material of value. Being wise is not based on anything that stays on this earth when we die. Being a fool is not based on anything that we can’t take with us when we die.

Being wise is a person whom can control their tongue and live like God. The fool can have control of his/her tongue and have wisdom and is very well favored in heaven and in this world. The wise can have the same thing when they have control of their tongue. That’s the power of learning to have wisdom.

The fear of the lord is instruction in wisdom, and humility comes before honor. Proverbs 15:33

God is Love and we must love like he does. When things are not going right in your life think about how your treating people and what you are saying and how you are acting and if things aren’t going good for you. Well the hard reality is that it’s in your tongue. Don’t judge the poor man because you never know if he’s the wise one.

Be like the fountain of wisdom. Not like a babbling fool.

Much love,

Melissa Giles
